The Ladies Aid meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of Uhe Bermiston Beraln THURSDAY, Miss Alice Rhea, daughter of C. C. Rhea, and Carrol E. Buckley, son of Mrs. E. Buckley of Portland, were married in Pendleton Sunday at high noon at the Methodist parsonage with Rev. Gleyser performing the ceremony. Miss Sophronia Rhea, sis ter of the bride, was maid of honor, and James Buckley, brother of the groom, acted as best man. A wedding dinner was served at the Rhea home in Stanfield. The bride cut the wedding cake. Mr. and Mrs. Buckley will make their home in Portland where Mr. Buckley is employed. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Penney and son Bill and Jess Richards were in Spokane ver the week end on busi ness. Mr. Hay. Mr. Jackson, Miss Kjont- vent, Mr. Dunn. Everyone was hunt ing a warm fire and heavy coats. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Pinson spent the week end in Walla Walla. August and Lilly Rauch visited at the Julian Rauch home Saturday and Sunday.
