Roll call was con ducted by Miss Lennä Waid and nineteen members responded with a current event. Papers were given by Mrs. O. M. Hoosier on Siberia, and by Mrs. J. F. Rueber on “Who is Making America.” Mrs. T. C. Baker and Miss Rose Hoosier sang a duet. Later during the business meeting Mrs. Edgar Hoosier was elected president. Mrs. Edgar Hoosier, vice president, Miss Rose Hoosier, sec- retary. and Mrs. J. Jaunnault. treas urer. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. T. Mrs. Alice Wells, who has been visiting her daughter in Pendleton for the past few days, returned to her home in Columbia district. Joe Ellen and Leonard Mopps left Friday for San Francisco to visit for two weeks. They are accompan- ing Mr. and Mrs. Smith, who are cousins of Mrs. Lathrop. Joe Hawkins of Adams visited at the Tom Wilson home Saturday. Dale Wells and Helen Couture were married February 9 in Kenne wick, Wn.
