Miss Esther Sibert, dean of the
Girls' League here, motored to Walla
Walla last Saturday to attend a
meeting of deans being held there.
She was accompanied by Miss Elma
Twogood, and Miss McNeill of Stan
field and Miss Aileen Runkle of
Echo.
Miss Esther Sibert entertained a
group of friends Thursday evening
of last week. The occasion was her
birthday. Among those present were
the Misses Frances Tigglebeck, Lila
Johnson, Mary Petrie. Margaret El
liott, Elma Twogood, Nora Johnston
and Harriett Olsen.

John Jendrzejewski left Wednes
day for Portland where he attended
a meeting of the Oregon Turkey
Growers’ association to study mar
keting and outline plans for the
coming turkey pool. Mr. Jendrzeje
wski is president of the Oregon
Turkey Growers' association and a
member of the state board. He ex
pects to return Friday and conduct
a meeting of local growers In the
evening.
