Winger of the Grandview Livestock Co., of Grandview, Wn., was a Hermiston business visitor Wednesday. Mrs. Joe Udey was called to Port land Sunday by 'the illness of her mother. Peggy Todd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Todd, is recovering from a severe attack of the flu. The Misses Bonnie Lamberson and Carrie Lage, Don Moore and Wal lace Chamness motored to Walla Walla Sunday. Spring straw hats at Alma Hitt’s Shop Saturday. adv Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Brownson and daughter Shirley were Pendleton vis itors Saturday. Miss Shirley, who teaches in the Heppner high school, spent the week end at home. Mrs. Gertrude Sanders and her mother, Mrs. Ida Simmons, were guests Friday at the home of their sister and daughter, Mrs. Llewellyn Brownell. The occasion was in cel ebration of Mrs. Brownell’s birthday and other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Chapman and son Fran cie. Mrs. Yerxa, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Joder.
