The Golden Text was, "He sent redemption unto his people; he bath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and * reverend la his namo” (Ps. 111:9). Among tho citations which com prised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from the Bible: "Create In me a clean heart, O God; and re new a right spirit within me" (Ps. 51:10). The Lesson-Sermon also Included the following passage from the Christian Science textbook, "Sci ence and Health with Key to the Scriptures", by Mary Baker Eddy: "Wisdom and Love may require many sacrifices of self to save us from sin . . .
