ELLA THORNE, 14, PASSES AWAY AT PENDLETON HOSPITAL Ella Thorne, 14. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Thorne, died Friday, February 6, at the St. Anthony's hos pital in Pendleton from adhesions re sulting from a previous operation for appendicitis. Ella had been attending school regularity and apparently had been in quite normal health until Tues day night when she awoke her mother saying she felt very ill. It was then discovered that she was In a critical condition and immediate preparations were made to rush her to the hospital. In spite of all effort made to save her she passed away Friday at 5:00 o’clock in the eve ning. Ella Thorne was born at Ho'dman Umatilla county, Oregon, where she lived until last October when her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. J.
