A rather serious accident occurred Monday evening at the Cochran cor ner at Minnehaha springs when an Oldsmobile driven by M. T. Matott collided wtth a Ford driven by an Echo resident. Both cars were dam aged, Mr. Matott losing a front wheel. But nothing daunted Mr. Matott borrowed a mower wheel and ran his car home on its own power. Neither of the drivers were Injured. The annual meeting of the State Beekeepers association will meet in Portland on November 21 and 23. The best meeting of the association’s history is expected as men high in the ranks of bee keepers will be the speakers of the occasion.
