The road grader has been doing
some smoothing work on the Butter
creek highway this past week work
ing on the first four miles out of
Hermiston. This highway la usually
very good but has been rough for
about two months due to the “wash
board” condition, and the present
operations will put the road in prime
condition for the hay hauling season
just now beginning. Bach season
about 200 carloads of hay are shipped
out of the Butter creek section alone.
