Last Sunday night the association bull on the Ott ranch got in the wrong stanchion, slipped and broke his neck, dying soon after. At a recent school board meeting Claude Haddox was re-elected prin cipal of Columbia for the coming year and will teach the three upper grades. Miss Fannie Todd was elect ed to the intermediate grades and Miss Glea Sias for the lower grades and music. Claude Haddox was also given the janitor Job for the ensuing year. At the west end track meet held in Hermiston Saturday Columbia man aged to take six places. Harold Buell won first in running and broad jump and second in the baseball throw for division A, boys.
