One conference on the thieving evil resulted In the drafting of two j bills regulating the sale and tran s-! portatlon of livestock and carcass es, together with provisions for bet ter enforcement and heavier fines and longer imprisonment for those caught. Representative sheep owners meet ing at the college also drafted a bill Intended to make It practically "open season” on all dogs left to run at large at night.
