Illsley Is reported as making a very satisfactory recovery in a hospital in California following a major operation to which she sub mitted a week ago Tuesday. She went down to visit Dr. W. W. Ills ley nd to rest, and her condition be came such that an operation was deemed necessary. Mr. Illsley made plans to go immediately to her bed side and expected to go from Port land by airplane. Later reports, how ever, were to the effect that her con dition was so much better tha(^ Mr. Illsley decided to forego the trip. The sheep business has a lot of fascinations and possibilities of profits, but Albert "Toughey" Ken nings of Hermiston is looking forward to the time when school will start so he can resume his school work and football, according to word received here by friends.
