The cows on h is farm a re headed tow ard good care and a com fortable home. T hey have a b ra n d new b arn , not yet fu lly com pleted, to house them . T he barn w as planned to tak e care of 20 head of producers. T here Is a d rivew ay through, th e c en te r over cem ent. T he cows face tow ard th e w alls w ith a feeding space betw een th e stan ch io n s and the w alls. “ L ater, I plan to build a hay b arn extension here on th e e a st w ith a drivew ay th ro u g h th e ce n te r," said th e ow ner. “ The mow room fo r hay w ill go clea r to th e floor.” T he h erd sire th a t has been in use to head tho H olstein h erd a t the E astern Oregon S ta te h ospital at P endleton was purchased th is week by Mr. P earson to head his grow ing herd. The bull Is a proven sire w ith some very high producing d au g h ters to h ig c re d it, and his blood lines are such th a t Mr. Pearson considers h im self fo rtn a te to get such a rep re se n ta tiv e of th e breed fo r h is use.
