w o s t o k , QBgGoy, POULTRY HOUSE IDEAS The poor lumber dealer cot an awful wallop not long ago. And thia is the way it happened. Chicken houses w er. being built at least twelve high with a wonderful arrangement of sash and ventilators way up there so high that they might have served as “lookouts" In the tints of invasion. Since chickens are not built on the same plan as giraffes, folks began to realize that all that super tructure was unnecessary. Now they build their poultry houses not more than eight feet high at the highest place. They have found that the chickens can keep warmer and with a simple veutllatlng arrangement they do much better. But it doesn't take near as much lumber to build this new style house, and that Is why we feel discouraged, but it will brighten us up a great deal if you will build for 300 hens Instead of for the 200 that you had thought of. You can do it for the same money We'll sell the same amount of lumber and you will have In. ceased your capacity flafty per cent without additional expense. You"H be happy and o will we.
