Miss Luclle Redmond of Redmond,
Oregon, has arrived here and taken
up her duties as a teacher in the
high school. The employing of a
sixth teacher was made necessary on
account of the increased enrollment.
Mrs. Arnold Gralapp and baby and
Mrs. Grant Wilson, Mr. ■Gralapp’s
mother arrived here last week. Mrs
Wilson will stay perhaps 10 days.
Mr. Gralapp Is an instructor in the
high school here and coaches the
athdetlc teams.
Dr. F. V. Prime returned Tuesday
night from Baker where he attended
the convention of the eastern Oregon
dental society. Dr. Prime did not
come away without honors for he
was chosen secretary of the associa-
tion for the coming year.

busy these days. They have already
shipped 11 cars of apples and have

tendered his resignation, giving as
his reason the small attendance and
suggesting that some other man
might have more success. Indica­
tions are that the church supporters
will oppose his leaving. Rev. Fau­
cett has a ranch and has on this ac­
count been able to give his services
to the church at a considerably
cheaper figure than another pastor
would be able to do.
