FIRE IN MONTHS TAKES LIFE OF INFANT Sold Barber Shop New Doctor Arrives William Shaar, who for the past couple of years has conducted a bar ber shop in this city, has sold the es tablishment to Guy Roland, formerly in the same business In Jefferson, this state. . Mr. Roland is a married man, his wife being a sister of Mrs. Hitt and Mrs. Phelps. In a short time she will come from Jefferson and join her husband here. Mr. Shaar, will probably remain here until spring, by which time he expects to have a building erected on the lots he recently purchased in Boardman, his intentions being to go there then and open up a barber shop and pool hall. Dr. Francis P. Adams and family arrived in Hermiston the first of the week from their former home in Yon calla, Oregon, and are located for the present at the Hotel Oregon, having been unable thus far to se cure a suitable residence house. Myron, their two year old son, was rescued from the building in an unconscious condition. He was later resuscitated and now suffers no ill-effeets from his near death from suffocation. The fire was caused by coal gas accumulating in the coal stove In the parlor and causing it to blow up.
