to such an extent that they cannot begin to fill their

people participated, speech making
became the order of the day and every
member of the school board, the clerk
included, made short talks, followed by
talks from all the patrons present. All
were loud in their expressions of
praise at tbe excellent management of
the school affairs, and especially of tbe
proficiency won by tbe girls in their
culinary arts.
