Dr. Wainscott, who recently made
application as an army surgeon, has
received word to be ready for a call to
service.
Mr. and Mrs Hinkle and Mra. Ing
ham drove to Pendleton Wednesday
where Mrs Hinkle acted as judge in
the floral show.
Thursday afternoon the M. E. aid
waa delightfully entertained at the
home of Mra. Johnson, Mrs. Bauchard
and Mra. T. W. Sapper assisting.
Friday evening of last week Mrs.
Jones entertained her Sunday school
class with a slumber party and Arlene
Kennedy was included as a guest. A
splendid time was enjoyed by all.
Mrs. Wm. Kennedy, Arlene and
Marjorie left Sunday afternoon for
Walla Walla. After a week there
with Mrs. Kennedy’s sister, they will
join Mr. Kennedy in Portland. The
community regrets very much the loss
of the Kennedy family and all hope for
their return at an early date.
