The Hermiston branch starts off with a membership of 27, one of the largest in the county. A number of others have signified their intentention of joining at the next meeting, which will be Thuisday afternoon. The fee is 91. Officers elected to the local branch are; Mrs. J. H. Strohm, chairman; Mrs. Paul S. Jones, vice chairman; Mrs. O. G. Sapper, secretary; Mrs. J. W. Campbell, treasurer.
