Strohm entertained in compliment to Mrs Bohn and Mrs. E. I. Davis. A uc tion bridge was the diversion and five tables were tilled for a most pleasant after noon Tuesday evening Mrs. T. W. Sapp r was hostess at the first of a series of three parties in compliment to Mrs. O. O. Sapper. Auction bridge was the order and nine tables were filled. The evening was a most delightful one. LOCAL BRIEFS HERALD, H. M. Gunn, who was confined to his home all of last week by sickness, was Saturday taken to the Pendleton li hospital, the case having been pro nounced pneumonia.
