Such meetings occasion ally will do wonders in getting country and town people to work together for their mutual good. If all the towns along the Columbia and Umatilla rivers Mrs. F. A. Phelps and Mrs Voyen went up to Pendleton Wednesday ta visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs W. L. McDonald left Wednesday for Woodinville, Wash., to visit with relatives for a short time. Saturday evening last Mrs. Raybill invited in a few of the young ladies in cmpliment to Miss Rodgers who was down for the week end. Mis. Cooper, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Hinkle, for several month-, left Monday for Twin Falls to visit other children.
