Mrs. Mabel Clow outlined the beginnings of the tem p eran ce m ovem ent am ong women, th e ag i tatio n and o rg an izatio n w hich have been necessary. She believes th a t such activ ities a re still n ecessary for th e developm ent of women and the p rotection of homes. The playlet, "K a te’s P o in ters on P olitics,” presented by Mrs. W. J. Cooper, Mrs. Wm. Thom and Mrs. Mabel Clow, gave m uch inform ation as to th e co rrec t expression of opinion at th e polls, and w as well received by the com pany. Mrs. W. F. Honey p resen ted a r gum ents to prove th a t prohibition does p rohibit, not to the point of perfection, she said, th a t th e law less elem ents of pre-p ro h ib itio n tlays should quietly subside when law Is involved ag a in st them .
