The floors are cem ent throughout. The in terio r finish of the b arn is white. Each window is hinged at the bot tom and has gu ard s at th e sides which keep th e ca ttle free from d rafts when th e w indows are open. Each anim al has individual drinking cups and with a slight p ressu re of th e nose sp ark lin g sp rin g w ater is available. A large b arn opens to th e north of the dairy b arn w here all feed an d hay is kept. W est of th e d airy b arn but con nected by a covered passagew ay is the m ilk house 40 x 60 w hich is light, airy and convenient, in which is a room for cooling and bottling th e m ilk, a boiler room, a ste riliz ing room, a room w ith larg e sinks for cleaning the bottles and other utensils. A F rig id aire ice plant has been installed. T h ere is a room for th e hired help w hich con tain s a show er and lockers. Milking m achines w ill be used. E verything w ill be k ep t In the m ost sa n ita ry condition possible. About 100 head of cows will be kept and th e m ilk will be delivered d irect from the dairy to th e con sum er. The approxim ate cost of the b arn and m ilkhouse is $10,000. A 15,lA)0-gallon w ater ta n k has been erected w hich supplies w ater for the dairy. The farm , consisting of 160 acres, was purchased from W. A. Zim m erm an about two y ears ago by E ckelm en Bros. of Riverview dairy. Mr. and Mrs. M artin J.
