Mrs. Mae Sutlif*, wife of the late S tanley B. Sutliff, who w ere form e r resid en ts of G resham , died at the Em anuel hospital W ednesday, Septem ber 5, follow ing a m ajor operation. She leaves one d augh ter, Macile, her fath e r George W heeler and one sister Mrs. F lo r ence M artin, all of Yakima. Mrs. Sutliff has resided in Yakim a since leaving G resham . Mr. SutlifT w hile in G resham was a tru ck d riv er for the S tan d ard Oil Co. B urial will be in Yakima. Miss Doris Brown has com m enc ed a six-w eeks course of in stru c tion on th e operation of a book keeping machine. Jo h n M etzger has been seen on the stre e ts th is week, th e first tim e he has been able to w alk about since la st May when he w as tak en sick.
