th e m isfo rtu n e to lose his Chevro-

j hands of a thief. No tra c e of th e
m issing car has as yet been ob­
tained. T he m achine was parked
at th e north side of th e W alrad
sto re and w as th e re a t 9 o’clock
when an o th er em ploye of th e place
drove in beside it. At 9:45 when
Mr. Homan w ent out to leave for
his home ea st of G resham the car
was m issing. T he sheriff s office
was notified Im m ediately. Mr. Ho­
m an had his o vercoat and oth er
personal effects in th e m achine.
