P an k ratz , who has leased the cen ter section of the Osburn building on Main street, th e form er site of the Maytag W ashing M achine com pany office, and is planning to in stall an up- to-date candy, music and variety store. Shelving and counters are being arran g ed in the new q u a rte rs u n der the direction of Mr. P ankratz, assisted by F red Ferguson and John Bliss. S tringed instrum ents and sheet m usic will tie carried by th e new store. Mr. P an k ratz , who is well ex perienced in the line of m e rch an dise h$ expects to carry , has been in and around O resham for the p ast year or more. He is a g ra d uate of a P ortland business college and is the step son of W illiam Sie m ens who purchased the photo- grapic studio of Adolph Zamsky last sum m er.
