lic service com m ission. A num ber
of reaso n s have been advanced
why th is right-of-w ay would be ile-
sirab le for a public highw ay. T he
site Is Well graded and it is be­
lieved th a t its use would elim inate
th e necessity for the B arr road ex­
tension to th e M ultnom ah county
farm

soms having g rea t m edicinal p ro p ­
erties. If th is is a fact, th en the

the very essence of (he honey p ro ­
ducing p la n ts, blossom s o i flowers,
giving us a very n o u rish in g and
p alatab le food.
Honey is very helpful in alm ost
all pulm onary ailm en ts. It is a

best of care, from th e driest ta le n t
our co u n try produces. In stead the
voter is presen ted w ith a b allo t
w ith a long list of nam es on it and
in stru c ted to select and vote for
10 or 12 of them , 50 p er cent of
w hich lie p erh ap s never suw or
even h eard of before. F ully half
of our voters vote for m en for of­
fice whom they know noth in g at all
about, selected by slip p ery politics
to aid them In atta in in g th e ir own
personal desires.
Mr. Voter, do n ot vote for or
ag ain st any m an u n less you know
som ething ab o u t his g en e ral p rin ­
ciples. if we all vote for a set of
inefficients we have no red ress, for
we can n o t blam e o u r neighbors for
doing the sam e as we do ourselves.
