THOM AS DARLING PASSES SUDDENLY Dr. T hom as D arling, for 25 y ears a p racticin g physician in P o rtlan d , died T h u rsd ay m orning, May 12, at the fam ily hom e on th e Regner road so u th east of G resham at the age of 77 y ears from v alv u lar h eart trouble. F ifteen y ea rs ago Dr. D arling retire d from active work and w ent to C alifornia and for th e p ast th ree yeneg has resided near G resham w here he has been very favorably know n. The deceased w as born in Can- ada. but left th e re at about th e age of 20. Dr. D arlin g 's ca reer as a physician has been an exceptional one.
