Myers, who lives east of G resham , suffered a slig h t p a r alytic stro k e T uesday evening w hich has affected her left side. H er condition is now improved. D. E. Myers, a son living in Elgin, w ith his little son is here for a few d ays’ stay .with his parents. The pleasing new s was received th is m orning th a t Rachel Headley, 18-year-old d aughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. H eadley and a senior in G resham Union high school, was brought home yesterday from a P ortlan d hospital w here she was ta k en on F eb ru ary 16 suffering w ith an attack of rheum atic fever. Miss Headley, who was an honor student, will not retu rn to school but expects to take the Hnal exam i nations. Not to be outdone in the m atter of descendents, Mrs, Emma Gilmore lias en tered her claim , announcing the b irth of her tw elfth g reat grandchild, th e son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Shultz, of W arrenton, born May 2. Mrs. Gilm ore, who will be 72 y ears old on M other's Day, has 30 g ran d ch ild ren and 6 children. Mrs. E.
