relatives. Mr. B aker and wife re
turned Monday but Mrs. C lara Ba
ker rem ained for a stay of a week
with her daughter, Mrs. Guy Moore.

children have recently moved to
G resham from Schefllin. a sm all
place near H illsboro, w here Mr.
Schw anke w as in the g eneral m er
chandise business 14 years. They
are occupying the C alkins house on
Maple avenue. Mr. Schw anke has
obtained a position w ith the Hessel
Im plem ent com pany as country
agent.
Miss Lucy Adams is moving to
day into her house on Cleveland
avenue and Powell street. She
plans to remodel th e residence
which, when com pleted, will con
tain a three-room ap a rtm en t for
rental. The prem ises w ere vacated
W ednesday by Victor K yle who has
lived th ere for th e past two and a
half years. J. It. H arlan has leased
th ree acres of the place which lie
will put into potatoes.
