Enlargement and improvement Planned by High School Board Overcrowded Condition to Be Relieved if Voters Favor Proposed Bond Issue on Saturday, January 29 T he school board of Union high school d istric t No. 2 has announced its plan to m ake n ecessary e n la rg e m en ts and im provem ents to th e m ain building, estim ated to cost $105,000, provided th e v oters on Ja n u a ry 29 auth o rize th e issuance county funds. O utside of a sm all a p p ro p riatio n of $100 a y ear from th e county lib rary fund to w ard th e school lib ra ry th e school is su p ported en tirely by special levy and tu itio n s from p upils outside the union d istric t. T his is know n as th e county high school tu itio n fund. of bonds to th a t am ount. T he board h as issued a call for an election on next w eek S atu rd ay a t w hich tim e th e citizens of th e U nion high d istric t w ill have an o p p o rtu nity to ex press th e ir a p p roval or d isapproval of th e plans In 1925-6 th e incom e from special ta x levy w as $30,988 on a levy of 8.6 m ills.
