T his is th e rep o rt w hich te n an ts gave to Sheriff H url- b u rt, who then assigned tw o m o torcycle deputies to th e case. A thorough investigation w as made, but no clew s w ere obtained w hich m ight lead to an a rre st. In addition to th e loss of th e hog, two dogs, a shepherd and a bull dog, are m issing and it is thought they w ere tak en at the tim e th e hog w as stoleVi. Two young men. under th e influence of liquor, w ere said to have visited the L innem ann farm T hursday. They said they w anted to buy pork and would re tu rn la ter, b ut they failed to do th is u n less it w as they who m ade th e n ig h t visit to the farm w ith th e resu ltin g loss of the porker.
