FAIRVIEW T he com m unity w as saddened to h e a r of th e death of Em il L oser who passed aw ay at A berdeen, W ashington, Dec. 10, due to an o p era tio n for appendicitis. Em il w as born a t E llis, K ansas, S eptem b er 2. 1903, and cam e to F airview w ith his p a re n ts w hen a sm all boy. H e graduated from th e F airview g rad e school in 191S, then attended th e G resham Union high school from w hich he g raduated in 1922. At th e tim e of his death he w as em ployed as bookkeeper for th e S aginaw Shingle m ills. Em il w as a young m an of fine c h a ra c te r and leaves m any frien d s in th is locali ty. Thy fu n e ra l w as held Sunday m o rning, D ecem ber 12, from The Skew es u n d erta k in g p arlo rs in P o rtlan d . In term e n t was m ade in th e fam ily plot at W oodburn.
