A trio of new baby girls has re- cently m ade th e ir ap p e aran c e at the T im m erm an n ursing home on F ifth »treet, tw o of them arriv in g the sam e day. A nine-pound d au g h te r w as born to Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Johnson, of Boring, and an eight- pound girl arriv ed to gladden the h e a rts of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Thom pson, of P ortlan d on October 15. On October 22 a six-pound daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. N. K. H usband, of G resham . The three babies w ith th e ir m others are doing well. The Rev. Miss N ath alia Koeber, pastor of th e F ree M ethodist church near Lfnnton, and her m other, call- ed on the Rev. L. A. Skuzie and fam ily on W ednesday. F rank Jones w as successful in landing the c o n tra c t for installing a new septic tan k a t th e O rient school. T he w ork is practically com pleted and the tan k will be con nected up w ith the pipes th e com ing Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. C harles Cleveland have retu rn ed afte r spending a few days a t th e ir cottage a t Seaside. They report the beach delightful ut this tim e of the year with w arm and balmy w eather.
