held on T hursday afternoon a t 2:30 at
the library. It is hoped every com m it

W. C. Burch has retu rn ed from a
hunting trip near Roseburg. He guid
ed a hunting p arty o f five to th e head
w aters of the Umpqua riv er and on
his retu rn trip had the good fortune to
shoot two deer w ithin a m ile and a
half of the city lim its of Roseburg.
