Can Collide on Main S treet Two F ords, a ro ad ste r and a coupe, got th e ir axles and fenders badly tangled up W ednesday evening about 7:30 on Main stre e t n ea r the library, th e dam age, it is said, being about divided equally. E ugene W elling, d riving a coupe w est on F o u rth street, collided w ith R. L. P itts in a ro ad ste r going n o rth on Main. T here seem s to be som e difference of opinion as to w hich young m an w as to blam e, a l though It is conceded by all th a t W ell ing w as trav e lin g a t a very m oderate speed, w hile th e P itts m achine was going th ro u g h a t a lively clip. W ell ing sustain ed a broken re a r w heel, a bent axle, bent fender and body, also tw o tire s w ere blow n o u t by th e force of th e collision.
