An en th u siastic m eeting was held a t the Victory schoolhouse on th e evening of A pril 19. when boys and girls in te re st ed in dairy and pig club w ork w ere p rese n t besides a large num ber of p a r ents. L. J. Allen, livestock leader of th e state, gave a splendid ta lk on calf and pig club w ork in general, discuss ing feeds, m anagem ent and accurate record keeping. Mr. K inder gave help ful in stru ctio n s in the filing and filling of the records and reports. The com m unities of Fairview , T routdale, L u st ed, O rient, Victory and Pow ell Valley w ere represented a t the g ath erin g and th e older ones p resen t showed their in te rest and w illingness to cooperate w ith the boys and g irls in th e ir efforts. A grow ing in te re st is being show n in th is club and a very m arked difference in the Individuals who a re ca rry in g out full in stru ctio n s in diets, exercise and oth er points is noticeable. Mrs. B. W. T h o rn e has Just com plet ed her first 100 per cen t club in th e county for 1926. She has w orked hard w ith her cooking club and h as put over a fine piece of work, according to Mr. K inder. T he club consisted of 15 members, P e a rl Yandell, Lois Kelly, L aura Todd, E dith Morgan, K ath erin e Dietl, Jean E lkington, Jean Inglis, Ro berta K idder, N ellie Johnson, Alice Shelley, M arjorie A ylsw orth, Emma D orvland, Ju a n ita Adams, Elizabeth Blonu and C h arlo tte Johnson.
