W ork will begin soon on m aking of hallocks for the field cra te s in p rep a ra tio n for the busy h arv e st to come in Ju n e and July. In consequence a call is being m ade to b erry grow er m em bers to re tu rn all th e cannery cra tes and to rep o rt the n um ber of shipping c ra te s on hand. A prom pt rep o rt is also requested on th e sale of berries eith er at the road side or on the m ark et last year by m em bers, in order to m ake an eq u it able adjustm ent. C oncerning these m a tte rs M anager D. E. Tow le says in a com m unication to the m em bers; "This is en tirely a m a tte r of honor w ith you and you should keep your honor bright. So far we have 6,111 cra te s of all kinds of b erries reported sold, or 55 tons sold direct. T his is a splendid privilege th a t is g ran ted to all m em bers to play the b erry m arket, but should not be abused by 's e llin g w ithout reporting.
