P re p a ra tio n s are being m ade by the P aren t-T each er circ le of th e O rient school to serve hot lunches to th e pu pils, and various m ethods are being used for th e raisin g of the funds. At th e m eeting of th e circle la st F riday evening a rum m age sa le and sale of refre sh m e n ts to ad u lts p resen t brought in over $8. A sim ilar m eeting two weeks before yielded nearly as much. Dishes for soup an d d rin k s and an electric plate w ere fu rn ish ed by Mrs. B eehler. It is hoped soon to be able to p u rch ase a ran g e, w hen th e serving of th e hot lunches w ill begin.
