A ll th ro u g h the season our oppon
e n t s com m ended us on o u r clean
playing and good sp o rtsm an sh ip . To
be com mended on th ese th in g s is
w orth m ore th an w inning all of th e
gam es.
The m ain reason for the su ccess of
the team was the efforts of Coach
K ruger. He had th e confidence of th e
team and the p lay ers played as h ard
as they could. A nother reason for th e
success th is year w as th e com petition
for places on the team . T he p lay ers
had to play hard to stay in the gam e
as they knew th e re w as a m an on th e
bench to ta k e th e ir place.
A lthough p rac tica lly the w hole team
will g rad u ate, w ith th e experience the
second team has had, and if Coach
K ru g er is back, G resham should have
a w inning team ag ain next year.
