One hundred people w ere present. The room w as b rillia n t w ith electric lights and gay w ith au tu m n foliage and dec o rations suggestive of H allow een. Fine music w as fu rn ish ed by th e Lynch o r ch estra of six pieces, Dr. Johnson of the G resham band donating his s e r vices for th e occasion. The door prize w as given to O rville Davidson and honors at ca rd s w ent to Mrs. G eorge F o rtn e r and G eorge Mid dleton. R efresh m en ts of cake, coffee and popcorn w ere fu rn ish ed th e guests by the club w om en. Much of the suc cess of th e p arty w as due to th e ef forts of th e chairm en, Mrs. H ornecker, Mrs. Lettow , Mrs. S teele and Mrs Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Bunn w ere ideal hosts and th e affair w as so enjoyable th a t other sim ila r p arties have been p lan ned for th e fall find w inter.
