Maine’s production th is year will am ount to over 31,000,000 bushels. L ast year Maine w as overtopped by New York th e la tte r having 46.620,000 bushels, and M innesota having over 44,000,000 bushels. We alw ays th o u g h t Oregon was a good potato state. If so she is way behind in productloh. with only 4 968,000 bushels th is year, w hile Idaho has 12.254,000. In fact, Idaho's llv< year average Is m ore th an double Ort g on’s live year crop; The big decrease for 1925 is due in p a rt to th e sm aller acreage th a n p re vious years, the rep o rt says.
