T he G arden club of th e Lynch
school has changed the d ate of its
box so d a ) from April 24 to May 1, the
sen io r class of the Union high having
previously decided on th a t d ate for
th e concert by W illam ette G irls’ Glee
club.
T he Camp H ill W om an’s club held
the re g u la r m eeting a t th e hom e of
Mrs. R. Bay. A lunch w as served a t
1 o'clock. A fter the m eeting a sh o rt
program w as given. The speak er for
th e afternoon was Mrs. F. W. S w an­
ton, who spoke on "H um ane W ork” in
th e city and county.’’ Mrs. E. E.
P reble, ch airm an of th is departm en t,
also attended th e m eeting. L avender
and w hite w ere decided on as the
club colors. Mrs. W. C. L aw rence was
asked to com pose a song for th e club.

tion held its re g u la r m eeting A pril 6.
w hich w as well attended. T he club
m em bers had charg e of the program
and refreshm ents.
