Mrs. Louise H euke. who lived in th e
D am ascus neighborhood for 25 years
p rio r to h e r rem oval to L en ts four
y ea rs ago, died at h er late residence
a t 5829, 85th stre e t so u th east, on Feb
ru a ry 18, at th e age of 67 years. H er
m aiden nam e w as L o u isa R oem er and
h e r b irth p la ce w as in Saxony, Ger
m any. She cam e to th e U nited S tates
about 30 y ea rs ago and had lived m uch
of th e tim e In th e locality so u th of
G resham . H er d eath w as due to a
succession of p ara ly tic stro k es, from
w hich she had been a su fferer for a
y ear past. She w as m a rrie d to F re d ­
erick H euke in th e old co u n try , who
w ith tw o ch ild ren , C arl, of L ents, and
Mrs. M innie W itzel, of D am ascus
survive her.
She also leaves five
g ran d c h ild ren an d tw o g re a t-g ra n d ­
children , of P o rtlan d , and tw o siste rs
