fro st king, sending a chill throughout
th e w hole land.
Very low te m p e ra tu re s have been
recorded in som e places, including lo
catio n s in Oregon. T he»records show
th is to have been the coldest C h rist
m as season in w estern Oregon in 50
years.
At th a t th is p a rtic u la r location is
very fo rtu n a te , having plenty of fuel
and provisions, and, unless all signs
fail, in a few days th e w arm ing south
w est w inds w ill bring up show ers th a t

state-w ide brand nam e for Oregon and
W ashington products is a ttra c tin g

section, according to th e ch airm an of
