HALL SEEKS NOMINATION AS GOVERNOR Senator Charles Hall, of Marsh field, formerly of Hood River, has sent to the republican press of the state an announcement of his candi dacy for republican nomination for •he office of Governor of Oregon. He was born In Pennsylvania and a little over 20 years ago, as a young man, came to Oregon and went into business at Clatskanie. He was en gaged in the drug business and later bought a drug store in Hood River where he lived until 1914 when he moved to Coos Bay. Both in Hood River and Coos Bay he became iden tified with many business and civic activities and has always been an active leader and organizer.
