GRESHAM F AIR VIEW X COLUMBIA HEIGHTS The Girls Aid society from the Fairview Presbyterian church, held a delightful porch party at the home of Miss Clara Sales on the Base Line road, last W ednesday afternoon. Twenty-two girls were present. The afternoon was spent In doing fancy work. A volunteer progratn was given and light lunch was served. The girls are making active prep* arations to assist In the Ladles' ba zaar in November. They will have the babies’ booth. The society was organized in April from the girls iu Mrs. A ngel's Sunday school class. The officers are, president, Helen Bliss; vice president, Gertrude Ba ker; secretary, Clara Sales; assistant secretary. Opal Davis; treasurer, Lillie Luscher. Mrs. Angel is su p er visor. Well, if you please, we saw a very big man on Sunday afternoon In the person of our former President. Wm. H.
