B loat is a form of indigestion due to
th e excessive form ation and accumula
tio n of various gases in th e paunch or
rum en. The a tta c h is especially ap t to
occur when cattle are suddenly changed
from a day diet to green clover or al
fa lfa . It is o ften seen during warm,
w et w eather, or when heavy dew or
n i n m oistens the foliage.
