EIGHT - Heppner Gazette-Times, Heppner, Oregon Wednesday, August 14, 2024 Sheriff’s Report MCSO April 1 Animal Complaint Occurred at W Fourth Rd/Idaho Ln, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised that there were 3 black cows and 4 calves with red ear tags in the road. He was able to get them into the pasture right there since it had an open gate but he is not sure if that is where they belong. MCSO checked the area. Disposition: UNABLE TO LOCATE. Driving Complaint Occurred at Se Utah Ave/Se Seventh St, in Irri- gon, OR. RP advised a red Dodge Durango refused to yield to him at this intersec- tion. MCSO advised, out of position. Disposition: ADVISED. Vehicle Fire Occurred on Highway 206 Condon, in Heppner, OR. Flat bed with smok- ing tires/wheels, no one around. HEPF and MCSO responded. Fire was put out, complete. Disposition: COMPLETED. 911 Hangup/Aban- doned/Accidental Occurred at Morrow County Sheriff ’s Office on W Willow View Dr, in Heppner, OR. The truck driver needed phone num- ber for Lakewood police dept to report his car stolen in Tacoma Washington. Disposition: REFERRED TO OTHER AGENCY. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. White dodge journey spun tires off of eighth and when she came back, she cut the cor- ner because she was going so fast- and when they did that they stared directly at the RPs residence. Ad- vised, units out of position Welfare Check Occurred at Clarks Canyon Rd/Highway 207, in Heppner, OR. RP is re- questing a check on an older male walking from Clarks Canyon Rd towards Hwy 207 carrying a gas can. She thinks he may have run out of gas. Vehicle looked to be parked behind him on Clarks Canyon. Blue jacket, longer gray hair. MCSO made contact and assisted. Dog Complaint Occurred at Ne Tenth St/Ne Washington Ave, in Irrigon, OR. 2 smaller dogs running loose that were barking and acting aggres- sive towards the RP and his dog when they ran by. Stated one of the dogs he thought got hit or clipped by a car before running home. Completed. Disposition: COMPLETED. MCSO April 2 nd Motor Vehicle Acci- dent Occurred at Kunze Ln/ Tower Rd, in Boardman, OR. RP hit a cow and has damage to his truck no injury, but truck won’t be picked up till around 5 pm. The subject was issued cite 43054 for 811.175 for DWS Violation and is to appear at IJC on 05-02-24 at 0900hrs. Disposition: REPORT TAKEN. Parking Complaint Occurred at Se Utah Ave/Se Division St, in Ir- rigon, OR. A white Toyota Camry parked on the com- er, rp advised it is a blind spot and they have been told not do that. Disposition: UNABLE TO LOCATE. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. Gray Kia Sportage like vehicle with a Hispanic male driver, sped down Utah towards Tenth. MCSO advised. Dis- position: ADVISED. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. Black dodge pickup came down utah and sped towards tenth. The vehicle then looped back around onto California and a white older pickup with canopy followed it with its music blaring and windows down. MCSO advised, out of position. Disposition: ADVISED. Harassment Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. Dodge journey sped down the road and purposefully did it to harass the RP. MCSO advised. Disposition: ADVISED. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised all vehicles that have driven by have been going over 25mph. Red F-150 with American flag tailgate sped towards tenth. MCSO checked the area, made contact with the driv- er, complete. Disposition: COMPLETED. Abandoned Vehicle Occurred at Rustic Truck Bar & Grill on E Highway 730, in Irrigon, OR. RP would like the Ford vehicle that’s been in their parking lot removed, it has been there for a couple days. MCSO responded, owner is working on getting the vehicle removed. Dis- position: COMPLETED. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. Silver dodge neon keeps speed- ing through the area, RP believes he is trafficking drugs. MCSO checked the area, UTL. Disposition: UNABLE TO LOCATE. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised neighbor has no license and is out driving. Went down Brandon in black F-150. MCSO ad- vised, out of position. Dis- position: ADVISED. Abandoned Vehicle Occurred on Se Green St, in Heppner, OR. RP advised there is a brown mercury van that is behind his residence in the alley and in the way. RP advised the vehicle has been there for 4-5 years. Disposition: CLOSED PENDING RE- CONTACT. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. RP Sup er ch st advised a red dodge that re- sides on eleventh came over and turned its music up. RP yelled at him, and the male ignored the RP, and then turned it off when he got onto Division. MCSO advised, out of position. Disposition: ADVISED. Juvenile Complaint Officer initiated activi- ty at Heppner High School, Nw Morgan St, Heppner, OR. Staff reports a student wandering around the cam- pus after school. Disposi- tion: COMPLETED. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised of a black dodge pickup 4 door, long bed that lives on Fourteenth st sped on Utah towards Tenth st. Disposition: UNABLE TO LOCATE. Driving Complaint Occurred on Se Utah Ave, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised of a red dodge nitro that sped on Utah and weren’t towards Thompson with their loud music. Dis- position: UNFOUNDED. Drunk Driver Occurred at Willow Creek Reservoir on Wil- low Creek Rd, in Heppner, OR. RP advised that there is two people that are in- toxicated at the reservoir. Disposition: UNABLE TO LOCATE. Trespass Occurred at Irrigon Shell Station on E High- way 730, in Irrigon, OR. Rp advised of a female that is trespassing, she is wearing blue/green flannel shirt with long white hair with glasses. She made threats to an employee. Disposition: COMPLETED. Suspicious Activity Occurred on Sw Sec- ond St, in Irrigon, OR. RP advised that there was a black car sitting out in front of her residence staring at the neighbors house who was involved in the mo- torcycle accident earlier. RP would like an deputy to check it out. Disposition: COMPLETED. Driving Complaint Occurred on I 84 E, in Boardman, OR. OSP advised of a rolling hazard at the 131 I 84 E headed towards Morrow. Pickup hauling a trailer, both with no lights on, both cab and trailer. Disposition: AD- VISED. Information Occurred on Se Crim- son Ct, in Irrigon, OR. OSP called in stating that mom called in worried about her son taking to long to get back from Kennewick he is driving a gold 2001 4run- ner and has an a warrant through Morrow County. OSP will call back if the RO states he has made it home. Disposition: COM- PLETED. Motor Vehicle Acci- dent - Fire Occurred at Sw Sec- ond St/Sw Nevada Ave, in Irrigon, OR. Motorcy- cle accident with injuries. MCSO, BFD, and IRRF responded, complete report taken/patient was transport- ed to GSH. Disposition: REPORT TAKEN. MCSO April 3 rd Abandoned Vehicle At Love’s Travel Stop and Country Store on Tow- er Rd in Boardman, OR. There was a report of an abandoned semi-truck that had been parked there for two weeks. The truck, a red CR England truck with the number 220860, was locat- ed near the scales. Morrow County Sheriff ’s Office (MCSO) was contacted and made contact with the vehi- cle. The issue was resolved and deemed completed. Assault An incident of assault was reported at Love’s Travel Stop and Coun- try Store on Tower Rd in Boardman, OR. A female individual claimed to have been physically assaulted by her husband. It was unknown at the time if the male was still present, but the female appeared to be injured and kept going back and forth to the bathroom. MCSO checked the area, spoke to staff and patrons, but were unable to locate the female. The case was closed as “unable to locate.” Driving Complaint A driving complaint was reported at the intersec- tion of SE Utah Ave and SE Seventh St in Irrigon, OR. The complaint involved a FedEx driver who allegedly ran a stop sign at the inter- section. The driver was last seen delivering a package at 530 SE Utah. MCSO at- tempted to locate the driver but was unable to do so. Welfare Check A welfare check was requested on Lakeview Ct in Heppner, OR. The re- porting party stated that her husband had locked himself in his room and she was unable to gain entry. Earlier, EMS had responded to the location, but the husband refused treatment and left against medical advice. The reporting party expressed concern for her husband’s well-being and requested assistance. MCSO made contact and resolved the situation. Animal Complaint An animal complaint was received regarding a pasture of goats on W Eighth Rd in Irrigon, OR. The reporting party be- lieved the goats were in- fested with worms and one of the goats was found deceased in the back of the yard. It was reported that the owner of the goats was unable to take care of them. MCSO checked on the sit- uation and determined that everything was in order. Noise Complaint A noise complaint was made by a resident on SE Utah Ave in Irrigon, OR. The complainant report- ed a black Chevy Malibu driving by with loud music playing. The vehicle was last seen heading down Tenth St. The reporting party believed the driver was intentionally harassing him. MCSO checked the area but did not observe any violations. Suspicious Activity A report of suspicious activity was made on SE Utah Ave in Irrigon, OR. The reporting party stated that a green Honda Odyssey was parked outside with a female individual sitting inside, using her computer. The reporting party sus- pected that they may be stealing their Wi-Fi. MCSO attempted to locate the ve- hicle but was unsuccessful. Suspicious Activity An individual made a report of suspicious activity on Ne Aiken St in Heppner, OR. The reporting party stated that her car had been damaged by what appeared to be BB gunshots. MCSO made contact with the re- porting party and resolved the case. Driving Complaint A driving complaint was received on SE Utah Ave in Irrigon, OR. The complaint involved a silver Toyota Highlander speed- ing down Utah Ave towards Tenth St. The vehicle was known to be parked on the corner of Idaho and Tenth St. The situation was noted, and the reporting party was advised. Suspicious Activity A resident on Sw Third St in Irrigon, OR, reported suspicious activity. The reporting party stated that a male individual was parked in a vehicle outside her res- idence, while her daughter was home alone. The male claimed to be looking for a coffee lid but had been there for almost twenty minutes. The vehicle was described as a black Toyota Camry from the mid-2000s. MCSO responded to the call, but the vehicle had already left upon their arrival. Driving Complaint A driving complaint was reported on SE Utah Ave in Irrigon, OR. The complaint involved a red Dodge pickup with chrome rims. The vehicle was ob- served speeding down Utah Ave, talking on the phone, and running a stop sign on Seventh St. The situation was noted, and the report- ing party was advised. Extra Patrol A request was made for extra patrol on Kunze Ln and Toms Camp Rd in Boardman, OR. The reporting party stated that there were speeders pass- ing through a construction area.
