A total of 47 Crystal Apples will be presented in early May to GHVHUYLQJHGXFDWLRQVWD൵LQ eastern Oregon. Winners from Mor- row County and Umatilla County school districts will be honored at the event at the Pendleton Convention Center on Tuesday, May 14th. The events include re- ceptions, and winners’ fam- ilies and friends and school district staff are invited. The winners from Morrow County are Chelsea Geer (Language Arts Teacher/ Drama Teacher/ASB Ad- visor). Bridgett Alldritt (Educational Assistant/Of- fice Assistant) from the Ione School District. Paige Grieb (4th Grade Teacher), Windy River Elementary School. Stella McMas- ters (2nd Grade Teacher), Sam Boardman Elemen- tary School. Jason Palmer (Science Teacher), Heppner Jr/Sr High School. And Trixie Pullen (2nd Grade Teacher), A.C. Houghton Elementary School. Free Spray Days 2024 The Morrow Soil and Water Conservation Dis- trict will host “Free Spray Days” in Morrow county next week. The chemical was generously donated by Morrow County Grain Growers. The herbacide is mixed by a licensed chem- ical applicator and comes in a labeled one gallon container ready for use (in- cludes a Safty Data Sheet, SDS).
