driving a small white car
and left towards Munkers.

for the female’s safety.

was unable to locate her.

Cold temperatures and
a steady drizzle greeted
participants at the Mustang
Invitational in Heppner
last Thursday. Nine teams
attended the middle school
WUDFNDQG¿HOGHYHQWZLWK
more than 50 participants in
some events.
While the weather may
have dampened moods and
slowed times, it didn’t pre-
vent several South Morrow
athletes from taking top
spots and setting personal
records in their events.
Several local athletes
placed in the top five of
their events against stiff
competition. Aidden Ramos
of Ione placed second in the
400 Meters, while Mustang

in the 300m Hurdles. The
Heppner men’s relay team
placed second in the 4x200
Relay.
